Summit’s Response to Covid-19
Summit recognizes the seriousness of the COVID-19 pandemic and the extraordinary challenges we face as a community, industry, and business. We are taking great measures to protect our staff, our clients, our families, our vendors and the people in the communities in which we work. These are unprecedented times and an ever evolving situation and we fully understand our responsibility to navigate this situation and ensure we inform, educate and protect by implementing special procedures and following the suggestions set out by the Governments in which we work.

We have implemented measures to ensure safe, uninterrupted service and continuity in our business. We have implemented procedures to curtail the transmission of COVID-19 in our offices, and to minimize the effects on our field operations by implementing additional hazard assessments, monitoring and preventative measures to ensure all operations remain a low risk environment.
Summit’s Health, Safety and Environment team is regularly updating staff about COVID-19 and providing accurate information about hand washing, social distancing and other measures to prevent transmission and protect health.
We have also:
Tested and implemented remote working access for all personnel
Restricted all non-essential travel (personal or business)
Encouraged personnel to practice social distancing
Limited external and internal meetings or implemented video conferencing
Implemented daily status reporting for staff
Require use and have supplied additional soap, hand sanitizer stations and sanitation wipes
Limiting of all non-essential external visitors from Summit offices and worksites
Any personnel returning from International Travel is required to self-isolate for 14 days
Our greatest resource has always been our people and we will continue to focus on the health and safety of the Summit Team, their families, our customers and the communities in which we work.The very nature of our business includes significant “working alone” projects and associated policies and procedures. We have updated strict COVID-19 measures to ensure our Summit Team is ready to respond safely whether working alone or in teams for any existing or new requests including, including spill response or regulated work which must continue through these times.
